Local videos & music
Plays the videos and audio files already on your phone, organised by folder, with search, sort and resume.
Play from URL
Paste a direct video link - MP4, HLS, DASH, RTSP - or open YouTube and Vimeo links in their official embed players.
Gesture controls
Brightness, volume, seek, double-tap skip, pinch zoom, long-press 2x speed and a control lock - all on screen.
Picture-in-picture
Keep watching in a floating window while you use other apps - for local videos and direct links.
Background & audio only
Listen with the screen off, or flip any video to audio-only mode - great for songs and lectures.
Private by design
No analytics, no tracking SDKs. Your history, playlists and favourites stay on your phone.
Controls that get out of the way
- Playback speed from 0.25x to 4x
- Aspect modes: fit, fill, stretch, original, 16:9, 4:3
- External subtitles (SRT, VTT, ASS) with size, colour and position styling
- Audio track selection and subtitle delay for SRT files
- Equalizer with bass and volume boost (device support dependent)
- Sleep timer, frame step, shuffle and repeat

3dPlayer checks the link first, tells you what it found, and plays direct video streams in its native player - MP4, WebM, MKV, HLS, DASH and RTSP. YouTube and Vimeo links open in their official embedded players. Other pages open in a hardened in-app browser with an optional privacy filter for third-party requests.
